I have enabled the Network Discovery, however, everytime I reboot the server, the Network Discovery will be disabled. Anyone have any idea how to fix it? Thanks.

I must confess I also found the Vista import of .dbx more difficult than it ought to be. There seem to be several reasons why the Vista import command declares that there are no dbx files. 1. The old OE 6 files were copied to a place outside of documents, i.e. outside of the user admin sphere of influence, so recopy them inside the "user" space. 2. If you used explorer to find those files and you left that explorer window open on that directory, then Vista considers that busy but gives the same error as 1! So you can go in circles here. 3. I'm trying to instal the updates that my computer says are available but they have all failed since 14th May. They download okay but it gets stuck in "Preparing to install". Automatic updates is switched on and an error message came up when trying to download SP1. Thanks Paul

Hi, Everytime after I scan my PC using Windiw Defender or Norton Internet Security, I would not be able to hibernate my PC. The same thing happens when I download and install new software. The error message is “ The device driver for the ‘Communication Port (COM1) devices is preventing the machine from hibernation. Please close all application and try again. If problem persist, you may need to update the driver.†Usually I coulkd overcome this problem by uninstalling the COM1 driver at the Device Manager and Scan for hardware changes and let the system to reinstall it back. Is there anyway to prevent similar problem from recurring ? …

My Windows XP installed the Software Distribution Service 3.0 but my Internet Explorer and Outlook Express were unable to connec Internet. I had to restore my system to connect again. For some reason Windows Mail now displays messages (when opened) slightly off-centre). I can click on them to centre them,but when I open another message, it too is off-centre. This has been going on for weeks, can't see how to solve it.. Does anyone know how to fix this... Thanks

In my backup scripts for Windows 2003 server we use rsm eject /LF"Library_id" /Astart and it ejects the tapoe all the time. When I send the same in Windows XP it says Additional arguments required. I have no idea what additional arguments are required. It is an HP USB DAT 72 Tape Drive, and it works perfectly on a Windows 2003 server, but not on Windows XP. I even tried the Guid and changing the command to /LG"GUID" but it still says additional arguments required. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

I have XP Home edition with service pack 3. I tried to go on a sit that is written in chinese and the computer couldnt show it. I dont have the XP disk with service pack 3. It asks me to install Chinese simplified. Please can someone tell me how I can get my computer to display Chinese from the web
