Hi, I'm using PGM to send multicast messages in my application. However it turns out that the first message is not actually put on the wire immediately, but only if the application sends a 2nd message. Then with the sniffer I see them both. So for now I have patched my application to do just this: send the original message, and then a message with just 1 byte. But I wonder why this should be necessary anyhow. It just adds to the networkload, protocol stack load, and the receivers must ignore the spurious messages. So is this a bug in the MS PGM implementation, or correct PGM behaviour? Hi, running XP SP3 and have had this problem for a while. Every time I reboot/restart, my system volume returns to zero. It is the 'Wave' volume slider that does this, not the master volume slider. How do I overcome this small annoying problem? Thank you.

I have Windows 2003 with some shared printers. My problem is that when a client in the domain adds a shared network printer the installed printer on the client machine doesn't take the adjusted values in the print driver like the paper size, tray..etc. Moreover when the client try to adjust the values i doesn't get saved so he has to change it every time with every print job? I specified a search to scan my C: drive only. When it found the files, I saved it to my desktop but I notice that it saved it as having searched both my C & D drives. Why should this be, and can it not be changed to save as specified? Geoplay

I have been using a Buffalo LinkStation Pro LS-250GL High Speed NAS Wireless External Hard Drive and all of a sudden I can't network with it. It has worked fine for over a year on my primary XP (SP2) laptop, and 2 other laptops I own (both XP SP2) have no problem accessing the hard drive and its files. Now - although I can access the hardware through its web interface and can log in and change settings, it won't let me access files.
