I have a few users that never turn off their laptops, they just close the cover whenever they go home. This means that their computers are rearely rebooted. The problem is that their KMS activations never refresh like every other computer in the company. While the normal computers refresh every 7 days, wether they are rebooted or not, the ones that are sent to resume mode do not refresh until they are rebooted. My question is why does Vista not refresh the KMS activation if the computer is resumed from standby. I know rebooting is a viable atlernative, but it would be nice if it wasn't a requirement.

When you add a macro to the Quick Access Toolbar in Word 2007, the same icon appears for all macros. When you go to change the icon, 2ord 2007 takes you to a group of icons. However, you seem limited to the small number of icons that are int hat group. I want to know how I can change or add old icons to the the icons I can access for the QAT. Thanks, Richard Diamond

I'm sure there must be a simple explanation but I just cannot seem to see it..... In my Windows Explorer listing of files and sub-folders in my Vista "Videos" folder there are no listings under the date modified columns for the files when "Detailed Views" are selected. All other folders show the date the file was modified (as well as size etc.). What am I missing?
