Whereas the EMR Virtual Appointments with Teams for Epic and Oracle Health (Cerner) are packaged offerings, doing tailored launch deployment has a few more steps to it—but it doesn’t require moving mountains either :> . It can also be done with other EMR platforms where there isn’t a pre-packaged connector available. In this video, I dis…

Top 25 SQL Server Engine Errors Based on support case volumes Documented
by Guest Joseph Pilov- 0 replies

About 6 months ago we decided to look at what SQL Server engine error messages are most commonly generating support cases to Microsoft. The end goal was to update the documentation for those error messages to allow our customers to find answers for themselves before they have to call Microsoft for technical assistance. The task, as we suspected from previous experience, was not easy because we had to mine cases for error numbers and a relatively small number of support cases get reported with error messages when they are opened. Please report full error messages when you open support cases with Microsoft - it would help us get you answers faster. Still, we were able to…

At Microsoft, we invest a lot of time researching and investigating possibilities in our journey to memory safety. Because the massive majority of existing codebases are written in unsafe programming languages, the task of protecting legacy code is very important. Hardware solutions are an attractive approach because they introduce very powerful security properties with low overheads compared to purely software solutions.
