I won't go into great detail, but I am paralysed and cannot use my hands. So although these programs are a choice for a lot of you out there, it is a major breakthrough and the only choice for someone like me. I'm trying to figure out if I want a faster computer, besides the Gateway P4 1.8GHz w/Win2k I have, for scientific research in my SSDI Ticket to Work Program. Most come with Vista. Possibly with inline machine code accessing the thread routines? Any resources for that? Sorry, don't program in C. Best Regards,

The wmiprvse.exe process run by network service on my machine is hanging around 5-10% CPU usage. I don't have the Windows Resouce Manager feature installed and there are no funky printer issues (things that I have found while researching this issue). Thanks.

Using WinXP with all updates etc in place. Lately I've started getting the 0xc0000005 error again increasingly more frequently when I double-click on the Recycle Bin or do a right-click / Open. Right-click "Explore" and "Empty" cause no problems. Didn't KB938828 fix this? Has anyone else started seeing this behavior again? -- Bob http://www.kanyak.com

I used my XP Installation disc and reinstalled windows XP. I thought the problem was solved and now the computer is doing it again. I have some theories …
