I have this problem under Vista x64 sp1 with all the latest updates.. it happens radomly and only a reboot fixes the issue.. I have it set to the default of group by similar task bar items, so if i have 10 explorers open and i want to click one of them, it just minimizes.. The same holds true in the documents folder, which i have set to auto expand.. it will expand but i cant click any subfolders (from the start menu).. I dont know if any apps i have down there could be causing it and even if they did, i'd need a fix to still be able to have them running.. ie: Utorrent or Outlook, Servu etc.. Or if it is a different issue.. Anyone found a fix for th…

Hello, First off, I run Vista Home Premium 32-bit. In the past several months I've started receiving error messages when my computer recovers from Sleep Mode. I don't remember when it started and I can't roll back that far. Only thing now is that the Symantec Shield has been inactivated in my quick launch task bar and I haven't figured out how to re-enable it. It probably has to do with 'START' --> RUN ... but I don't know what needs to be done after that Anyway, thank you for posting the solution to this message string Gene D "Shenan Stanley" wrote: > DuncanC wrote: > > I have always used automatic updating on my XP Pro system, so it > > was up to date. > > > > I just repaired the XP Pro installation because of a USB issue.
