I have a strange error that occurs when I attempt to open a jpeg image. Instead of opening the image it opens the folder that image stored in, even though the folder is already open. At that point I can open the image directly. And if the image is on the desktop it opens a subfolder contained in the pictures folder of my documents. Often the wrong folder. I checked the file associations to make sure all jpeg. Or jpg. files are associated with windows photo editor. Very strange. Never encountered anything like this before. I also checked the folder properties to verify that the pictures and videos template was selected. Any Ideas? Nick

Hi all, I cannot get my applications to display side by side, I right click on the task bar and ask to tile which is in the option box but the windows will not display 2 open applications at the one time. I like to cut and paste from one open document to another when displayed side by side as I do on my XP computer but my laptop (Vista OS) will not do this.?? Any ideas (answers) would be appreciated, Bob from down under.

I'm wondering if anyone else has ever seen this. I opened up Event Viewer on a Windows 2003 Standard Server and all icons in Event Viewer have a bright green border around them. Other than that, everything looks like it's working correctly, but I know that the green color is not normal. This is only happening on one of the two servers on the network. The second server does not have the green highlights. I've run a virus scan on the affected box and Symantec AntiVirus did not find anything. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
