There are some info I picked up from website: 1. Without partition software. You can resize other partitions, just not the boot partition which is the one that the Windows server 2003 files are located on. To resize it, use the disk configuration tool after starting up with the 2003 disk. You'll have to reinstall when you do this. 2. There is no free windows server 2003 partition software, there are two great partition software for windows server 2003. * Partition Magic will do not the trick. Use Norton Ghost to copy the partition onto another HD, and uninstall your Windows Server 2003. Then install Windows Operating System which Partition Magic supported,…

I am getting an error on startup after doing windows update. Never saw this before. The ordinal 49 could not be located in the dynamic link library MAPI32.dll Looking on the Web, it seems that if you run Fixmapi.exe, this should fix it. It doesn't on my machine. Doesn't seem to do anything - just goes right back to a command prompt. I have 3 Mapi files: MAPI32.000 that is 110KB MAPI32.DLL that is 145K MAPI.DLL that is 81K What happened here? How can I fix this? Thanks, Tom

I simply cannot get this service to start. I was using it to VPN my Palm Centro to my home machine, but since SP1 it just will not start. I have followed every KB article I could find and Googled for a couple of days, nothing. I have tried disabling all services and startup items except MS items, still will not start. In addition to the errors below, this also appears in the event log: "Unable to load C:\Windows\System32\iprtrmgr.dll." The file exists and the permissions are correct, it is read/writeable by the system. In addition, there are two other files that the KB told me to check, both exist in the correct locations and have the correct permission…

Is there a way to use the operating system to 'compare' what has been copied and highlight what remains to be copied. Similarly, Is there some way to 'span' the files over a number of CDs through though XP professiona? Much thanks for any guidance

I'm having trouble connection to the internet from my laptop (running vista). I am connecting through a cable modem (no router). The modem is working correctly. I can access the internet through my desktop (running xp) and playstation. I've tried everything I can think of (I've disabled then enabled the local area connection). I've run diagnostics-- shut down and reset the modem--- rebooted the computer-- removed freeware that I installed that may cause an incompatibility problem. When I reboot I only have local access only-- if I configure my LAN it says the device is working properly (Broadcom 802.1 1b/g WLAN). When I try to repair the connection-- i rec…
