Ok, I am getting a Inaccessible boot device when I boot up into Windows 2000 Server. I have done a check disk on my drives (RAID5) with 3 HDD's. They seem to be OK per the check disk. Next I done a Windows repair. After this I was able to get pas the blue screen and go somewhat into a GUI. It gives me an error saying Security Accounts Manager initialization failed because of the following error: The security ID structure is invalid. Error status 0xc0000078. After googleing this I seen where people said a defrag should fix this. But other sources point to the registry as a problem. I do have a backup but it seems like when I load the backup it g…

(My comment: I just installed the live suite, but not all of it. The movie maker live seemed too limited to me and I didn't want the toolbar and parenting program. But as far as I can see, live mail and the messenger and writer are very good, stable etc. They also fixed the colors of the toolbars in live writer and live mail, so that's a plus. The messenger seems a little awkward, perhaps its not streamlined yet since this is still a beta. I will use the new calendar for sure along with the new outlook plugin, in fact I was looking for such a thing recently!!! So you see to all your naysayers... I have two Vista machines that below to a domain. I try and use the WET and it starts the process and runs however it always gets to different point and has trouble with a file and gives me the Skip or Continue and when I continue its just looks like its doing something but never moves on from that point. I am trying to transfer 2 accounts one is an admin account the other is not. Is this a problem with access rights? or the WET process? I would appreciate any help.

They are in seperate locations and both have multiple network cards as shown below Server 1 NIC 1 - Public IP (89.xxx.xxx.xxx) NIC 2 - Internal IP (192.168.0.1) Server 2 NIC 1 - Public IP (219.xxx.xxx.xxx) NIC 2 - Internal IP (192.1681.1) I want to setup the VPN using a preshared key not a secure certificate between the two internal NICs. Hello, We want to test a new database application on our LAN using a Win2003 server. The idea is to simulate normal use, and then heavier-than-normal use and (if possible) to get a report of what happened during the to see if the machine can manage the load increase.
