When I shut down my computer, the machine goes through its regular procedures, but right before it normally turns off, a blue screen appears saying something to the effect of "Unmountable Boot Volume". I ran chkdsk /r as I have read elsewhere on the internet, but the problem occurs so intermittently that I can't tell if that really does anything.

I have read many posts about changing from Vista to XP-Pro on different Toshiba laptops, however I've tried most suggestions to no avail. When I tried to stop or cancel I turned the computer off and when It rebooted IO lost many programs as well as the internet. I just recently upgraded my wife's computer from Windows 2000 Professional to Windows XP Professional. When she had 2K she could change the icons lister under "Favorites" to the icons of her choice. Under XP, when she changes a "Favorites" icon it immediately reverts back. Is there a way to change this behaviour? I've been logging in to XP Home most of the time as an administrator. How big a security risk is this? If I start using a limited account, is there a way to copy the documents and settings and maybe the Outlook Express mail and address book from the Admin account? Thanks
