If I select plain view when composing a message like this one, this is what I see (bold text) in the compose window. If I select rich text, the font is normal but I am unable to send the message. Also, how can I change the font size when viewing anything in MS Windows XP. Except for here, all windows programs, the font is so small that I can hardly read it.

Can anyone recommend SATA or USB controllers that have good drivers for Windows NT? I need to get information off a failing old server and would like to have a way to image the existing hard drives to something portable. -- Will

I get a blue screen memory parity error every time my system comes out of hibernation (Sony Vaio laptop vgn fz340e). I added memory several months ago everything was fine until a few weeks ago after a few auto updates. I also purchased and loaded a firewire 800 express card around the same time, but can't see how that would matter (althought that card doesn't work right either). I cannot accest the logon screen which cuts me off from the command prompt and safe mode. In Linux, there is a "logwatch" file that gets emailed daily to the root admin. This file is a an overview of the system status. Is there an equivelent to this logatch in Windows 2008 server?

Hi all. New to this but i have a big problem. I bougt a new pc recently, 500 gb memory, 4gb ram, i installed 32 bit vista home premium. When i go to shut down it wont shut down and blue screen appears and says physical memory dump. Then it restarts itself. I am wondering if this is because of the 32 bit os and i need 64 bit os. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dear All I think IE7 was installed prior to SP3 and we have AVG Anti Virus running, Spybot and Windows firewall. I am reluctant to turn these off unless absolutely necessary as we are not sure what is causing this security patch to install. Thank you Barry

Sometimes when I get up my laptop with Vista from hibernate state I get a blue screen with BAD_POOL_CALLER error message. I have searched information about this error in network but I didn't find anything special (many discussing says that in general it is problem with driver(-s)). How to check source of the problem (I try to analyze mini dump file but I don't get any suggestion). Thanks for help Arkady
