Today we are pleased to announce that you will be able to enable much higher throughput levels for Azure Service Bus Premium. Growing adoption of containers for workload deployments has seen the emergence of Kubernetes as the preferred container orchestrator tool in the Cloud Native ecosystem. Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), the managed Kubernetes offering from Azure, allows customers to offload the operational overhead to Azure, thus letting the user focus primarily on their workloads and business logic. However, as users migrate large scale workloads to containers, they often create a large number of AKS clusters for various reasons – clusters in different environments (QA/test, staging, prod), clusters in different regions for high availability or localization/proximity, or using clusters to …

Healthcare Short: Outreach Campaign for Diabetes Propensity
by Guest Shelly Avery- 0 replies

Story Background Early detection of any condition, chronic or not, gives us the ability to take necessary interventions. Once the diagnosis of diabetes is made, diabetes-related tissue damage occurs in nearly half of the patients. Even after diagnosis, the likelihood of leading to vascular complications is quite high. Evidence suggests that early detection of diabetes by appropriate screening methods, especially in subjects with high risk for diabetes will help to prevent or delay vascular complications and thus reduce the clinical, social, and economic burden of the disease. There is evidence to show that intervention at the prediabetic stage is superior to the diagno…

With Windows 365 Alerts, an endpoint admin can configure alerts and notifications specific to Windows 365 Cloud PCs. The goal of Windows 365 system-based alerting is to provide the awareness that will help keep the Windows 365 enviro…

by Guest Abraham_Pineda- 0 replies

Connectivity health checks and connectivity history reports are new features that will help you mitigate connectivity issues users may experience with their Cloud PCs. Connectivity health checks are run against individual Cloud PCs and tell you whether a Cloud PC is in a healthy and connectable state. These checks can be accessed through the new Performance (preview) tab under the device overview blade. If any of these checks fail, the user won't be able to connect to their Cloud PC. Additionally, you are able to see a user's connectivity history to determine whether a device failed a connectivity check or experienced a connectivity error in the last 14 days. Connec…

It just got easier to use Windows Push Notification Services
by Guest Rebecca_Penick- 0 replies

We are excited to announce today that Windows Push Notification Service (WNS) is integrating with Azure Portal. We are building a new registration flow that will make it easier than ever for you to start delivering new updates to your users! The existing registration flow for push is done through the Partner Center portal and requires a Microsoft Store presence. This means only packaged apps—like Universal Windows Platform (UWP)—can use WNS. Unpackaged Win32 apps must find other solutions for notifications, and that can compromise battery and CPU. Developers, we have heard your feedback that this is not ideal! Our goal with this new onboarding experience is to provide …
