Hi I am using Mdaemon with Windows 2003 Server. Few months back I changed the machine because old machine had some problems. After changing the new machine everything is perfect except that the mails can not be downloaded outside the local network. I have configured it exactly the same way as old server. Locally its working perfectly but outside the network its not accessible by using World Client or putting the POP and SMTP. I have put both local as well as real IP for outside access but still mails can not be checked/downloaded. I have gone through entire Mdaemon documents but no use ! Can some one help me with this ? We have a brand new server Dell PowerEdge 1950, running Windows Server 2003 ENT, SP2. It has two 1TB drives, not running any Raid. Basically, some of the folders on the drives are very large, and if you open them it takes a very long time, longer than normal. The screen goes to white, and you wait, then eventually the flashlight icon starts going back and forth. Finally the data will appear. If we close that folder, after all the data is visible, and go back into that folder right away, this does not happen anymore, it opens up right away.
