I CANNOT RECIEVE ANY OF MY UPDATES

Hi I am trying to access some files on a USB drive. My operating system is Windows XP, but I am unsure what the operating system is/was on the USB drive. When I try to open the folder but I get permission errors. What can be causing this and how do I resolve the issue? Cheers

Whenever I try to search for updates, the system shows the error message 'Code 800F0900'. All the previous updates have gone through successfully. But I am not able to run the task for new updates. I am running a Windows Vista Home Premium version with SP1. Any suggestions? ~Dino.

Gurus, Running Windows XP Pro SP3 on a Sony Vaio laptop. The system has been running fine except for one little problem - when I try to use the "Undock Computer" option from the Start Menu nothing happens. It used to work fine - and present a dialog box indicating "Undock is complete" but now it doesn't do that anymore. Thoughts? -- Spin
