Can someone please explain to me why after installing SnapShot Viewer Access periodically craps out when I use it as an ActiveX Control? I suspect that its a Windows issue as I just recently started having problems on my new Dell laptop - Windows XP SP3. My only workaround is to delete the key from the registry and reinstall it. It works for a while and then craps out. Basically, its used as an ActiveX control on an Access form. For awhile it works, and then it craps out ("Access doesn't support this ActiveX control.") when I try to add a new control. The existing control is simply blank although the class name and what not appears to be correct.

Hello, I have MDT 2003 installed and it seems to running just fine to install OS, but I cannot get it to install ANY applications. I have followed the instructions included in the documentation that accompanies MDT and have posted questions on several newsgroups and have still not been able to get MDT to serve the applications after the OS install and reboot. As I understand it, there is a script that needs to run after the OS install and it logs into the new install and then runs the app install that was requested during WinPE setup. This never happens on my installs. If I manually fire up the script, then it works, but not otherwise. What am I not do…

I am having trouble accessing WebDav from our 64bit Vista Business client PCs. I can access it fine in IE7, but adding a network location says access denied, and entering 'net use * [webdav]' at the command prompt gives system error 5. We have two machines running Vista32 and are working fine, and also a number of XP32 machines. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. -- john_corker ------------------------------------------------------------------------ john_corker's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/john_corker.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-help/1058782.htm http://forums.techarena.in

I am getting service timeout errors for the SharedAccess service being reported in event viewer. On investigation I found that the service is not listed in the list of active services but there is an entry for it in the registry. I understand that the SharedAccess service is for the firewall and Internet Connection Sharing. I use a third party firewall (Zone Alarm) and do not use ICS, so I assume that this is why the service is not running. The question is why am I getting reported errors when I am not using the functions that rely on this service? Any help would be appreciated.
