MODI keeps setting as the default printer. I even tried uninstalling it and it still sets as default. THe weird thing is that it is only doing this for one of our divisions. We have 3 other divisions on the same terminal server and their printer default stays as selected.

I have a local network running among four computers. On one of these, I have lost my ability to connect with other computers in its workgroup. This had been working for ages and I'm not sure what could have caused it. I can connect to the router and have access to the internet. My "network places" shows the workgroup, but when I click on it to connect I get an error message that the workgroup is not accessible and I might not have permission to use this resource. I've checked that the workgroup name is correct and even went through the process of re-entering the name - to no avail. I appreciate any advice.

Hi I am running Windows Vista Ultimate SP1. I am trying to install VMware Worksation 6.5. When I attempt the installation I get the following message: 'Extracting file failed. It is most likely caused by low memory (low disk space for swapping file) or corrupted cabinet file. I have been able to successfully install the same program using the same MSI package on Windows XP SP2 & on another install of Vista. Do you have any information as to what the problem is? -- needinfo

However, this checkbox always seems to be checked automatically after saving and exiting the dialog. Any ideas how to keep it unchecked?
