There’s been a lot of really good discussion around this and a few common questions have bubbled up. I’ve attempted to roll-up answers to these common questions in one easy-to-find place. Hi, We are trying to generate certificates for Windows Mobile 6 devices. They tell me that the Certificate Manager application on these devices will not import .cer and .pvk file. It is looking for a .pfx file. I have been unable to export the certificates in this format. When I try to use the Certificate Export WIzard from the CA the option to export to a PKCS #12 format is greyed out. I've also tried to do a certutil -getkey using the certificate's serial number but it comes back with "cannot find object or property" . The certificate template does have the box "Allow private key to be exported" checked. Thanks.
