we have an internal hard drive in a removeable tray as a form of backup running on win 2008 64 bit. Each day we where using a free utility to hotswap the drive which was working without any problems. but now for some reason now even with no other programs running on the server something is accessing the backup drive and we cant see it hotswap the drive. it keeps saying the drive is in use. We thought it was the backup software so temporarily have removed that and its made no difference. Has anyone else had this problem. One thing to note this only seems to happen overnight as if we reboot the server and then hotswap it works without any problems but we dont…

Hi experts, I have a strangle problem with LastInputTime from WinStationInformationW function. The problem is that it sometimes return LastInputTime with 7 min difference from its actual time. For example: last input time was at 11.10 but it returns 11.03. It usually occurs when the person logs in for the first time at the terminal server. But it can also appear during active session. I don't think that the problem is in the code, because it apperars ocassionally. Thank you in advance.
