Hi, at our organisation, we are using a remote homedrive on client machines (OS is Windows XP). This drive is actually a folder on the FileServer on which also some confident information reside. Since the homefolder is in the command search path this means it is accessible to the system what is in general a bad idea and is searched everytime a command from command prompt (or run window) is issued, even before the %SystemRoot%/system32/ folder is searched. I know the folder on the FileServer is protected with user and group rights, but anyway I fear that this access is enought to let somebody gain access to the confident material. I have 2 questions r…

when i have installed Windows Vista i have a problem to install a certificate with Internet explorer. I succeed to demand and to install ( at CA ) a certificate. but then when i am connected to the web site, not there certifcates to introduce. If demand ena install a certifcate with firefox not there are problems. I have found this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932156 who is my problem, but following step by step the guide i have the same problem. My UAC is disabled. bye

I am a user interface tester on the Internet Explorer team and one of my favorite things about any application is the ability to personalize the program to give it your own look and feel. I am never content with ubiquitous one-size–fits-all solutions and really look forward to products that value user choice.
