Hi, I am unable to install root CA sertificate to my workgroup computer. From workgroup pc I opened http://myCA/certsrv and downloaded CA certificate chain certificate ("certnew.p7b"). After this I opened "Certificates (local omputer)" MMC and tryed to import this certificate to Trusted Root Certificate Authorities and got an error "The file type is not recognized. Select Another file". whats is another the simplest way to enrol root certificate ? can I export it from my root CA via "mmc/certificate(local computer)/Trusted root certificate authorities/" and import it to workgroup computer as root certificate??? thanks

Hi, I am trying to learn AD and Server 2008 features using a VHD... I can't quite figure out how to make it so users of computers logged into the server have admin rights locally (by using group policy). I have seen tutorials on using restricted groups, but there is not a restricted group under computer configuration > windows settings > security Do I just add it or is there something I am missing?

This is a very good read over at E7 blog. It lays out just what to expect in the coming months with Windows 7. As many have speculated there will only be one official beta release, build 7000, which was available to everyone on Jan. 7. The next release of Windows 7 will be the release candidate (RC). Then on to RTM. Speculation is Windows 7 RC will be available in the middle of April. Here is an excerpt of the blog post. You can read the full post at Engineering Windows 7 Blog.
