Problem with Secedit.exe and registry
by Guest Ranger- 0 replies

I am modifying some security settings. I have successfully completed the changes with secedit.exe. The only problem is that all the registry key values are now lowercase! The database has them as mixed case and shows them as such when I export them. But when the configure was done, apparently it changed all the registry keys to lowercase. Some of these keys are Windows provided registry keys and values. I'm Vista Home Pemium. I searched the Net and found no hits. Anyone know anything about this? Why would secedit use lower case when updating the keys? Thanks!
