Hi all, This might be a stretch.. but i'm seeing if anyone has seen issues with MS SCCM installed on a network with old XP clients.. These pc's have had no maintenance on them.. some with as little as 512Mb of memory installed.. When the department that handles SCCM installed it across our systems.. they increased our pagefiles on all desktops.. to 4092Mb.. but now we've seen a slew of slowed down pc's with that happening. These old pc's also now seem to have fragmented page files.. and is that causing the slowness? Any help or direction is greatly appreciated... Thank you Steven

I have a 2003 Enterprise CA and would like to be able to issue Web SSL certs for a period longer than the default of 2 years. I created a template from the existing Web Server template and set the VP to 10 years. My CA certificate max is 20 years. I then added my new Cert Template to the Certificate Templates of the CA If I use IIS to submit a request to an online CA it just gives me the standard 2 year cert. If I generate a request to submit later and then try and do the web enrollment selecting my new template, I get a message: "Your certificate request was denied. Your Request Id is 37. The disposition message is "Denied by Policy Module". So I…

Good afternoon. I am having a problem with Windows 2008 x64 (this is a terminal server). I am trying to use Windows Explorer to view the contents of the “C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Filesâ€Â directory. For previous versions of Windows, this directory would show me the ActiveX controls that are installed. However, with Windows 2008, it is not displaying anything. If I open up a command prompt and list the directory, it shows me the file contents just fine (there are no hidden files or anything). However, from the command prompt, I can’t properly remove ActiveX controls (because of registry settings, etc.). And these are not ActiveX …

I shared a printer on a XP Media Center pc and added the user id of the user from a Vista Home pc to the XP MC machine. Now I've removed the user id from the XP MC machine. When we go to add the shared printer on the Vista machine, it says the share already exist with another id, and to remove it. The previously shared printer does not show on the vista machine, so how do you get rid of a share to a printer when it's not showing up? Or how do you remove the "connect as different user" connection when you can't see it?
