unknown account under properties, security tab
by Guest hello2007- 0 replies
there are 2 accounts that are stated as unknown accounts with a bunch of numbers and letters following that under properties/security tab whenever i right-click on any file in my computer. I think they got there because i changed permissions of a account before i deleted it months ago which was my mistake and ever since i created 1 more account without touching any permissions but when i went to delete it, it created a unknown account as well when i deleted it so now i have 2 unknown accounts, how can i remove these two unknown accounts if it is at all possible -- hello2007

By default Windows 7 shows the time in 24 hour format, so if you want to get the AM / PM symbols, press the Windows Key, type intl.cpl (or Copy & Paste Blue text) to open Regional and Language Options, go to Addition Settings > Time where Long Time is set to HH:mm and change it to HH:mm tt, for example, where tt is the AM or PM symbol ( 20:15 PM ). To change it to the 12 hour format, you need to type it like this hh::mm tt ( 8:15 PM ).

I pay a monthly fee for a dedicated computer with Windows 2008 server from GoDaddy. I just had them provision a 100 Gig backup but it does not work properly. Ftp will not do a mkdir xxx, it drops the connection instead. GoDaddy support says they need administrative access to the system in order to fix the problem. I have 3rd party's accounting records on that system. Is it possible to restrict someone with administrative access from that accounting directory?

Has anyone found a solution for this problem yet? When listing photos, the thumbnails are generated and then disappear - replaced by the standard icon.
