Belarc says, "KEY:" and has the product key that matches the box. I pulled all four boxes and ran Belarc on the three laptops that are still running. The dead one I have a Belarc printout from Feb 2009. And the keys match the product key that is on the CD case. And each one of the three with the same product keys has a different product ID. Anyway, the question is do I have to reinstall Office 2003 so that each laptop has its own product key? "Peter Foldes" wrote: > Then you have it turned around. The security, compatibility, and speed differences between IE 6, and IE 8 are huge. If you are having trouble adjusting to IE 8, I would recommend viewing in compatibility mode, which makes sites appear like they did in IE 6. Here's a link to walk you through it. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/956197/ -Kyler IE8 Outreach Team -- Kyler_IE8_Team

  10. In this post, I want to share some examples of the progress going on in the SVG Working Group. Microsoft recently joined the SVG Working Group, and other members (Mozilla, Apple and Opera among others) welcomed us warmly. I'm hopeful about the ways that SVG (both its current direction and future potential) could make the web better. We want the spec to be clear, consistent, and predictable for developers. We’re working out ambiguities such as “Pointer events and clip-pathsâ€Â, “CSS Selectors and as well as inconsistencies with stroked-dasharray†and “ and its interaction with the DOM and rendering†so that web developers can write SV…

Does anyone know a way to repair Mictosoft Sync Center in Vista Home Premium? I've never used it, and don't envision ever needing it, but I'm getting periodic alerts that it's stopped working The pop up during boot-up, and sometimes for no apparent reason that I can figure out. SFC /Scannow reveals no problems, and a Systems Restore would undo so much that it'd be more trouble than it's worth at this point. Failing a repair method, a way to either uninstall the blasted thing or just turn it off would be nice. Thanx: Buddha

This is so frustrating. This will be the third time I am trying to post this question. With the first two, I was in the Microsoft Office Discussion Groups, not the Newsgroups. Now I am in the newsgroups and it looks identical to the Discussion Groups area so I am guessing they are the same and instead of this being a first post in the newsgroup, this will be my third post in the same spot. I have not been able to find help for posting in these discussion group/newsgroups and it's so frustrating. I don't know if there's a glitch or if I am doing something wrong, but trying to get help from Microsoft is a joke. All you ever get is general…

I am currently looking to replace my old SyncMaster 950p monitor. I plan on getting a widescreen LCD monitor, probably 23 inches. A poster from another newsgroup suggested looking into an LED backlight LCD. Any opinions on this particular feature? Is it worth the extra money? TIA. So far, I am leaning towards one of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009179 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236075 (once it becomes available again!)

I have windows XP Pro (version 2002) SP3. When I lock my computer, I do not see the "Computer Locked . . . " dialog. Instead, I only see the "Unlock Computer" dialog immediately upon locking. I am concerned about not pressing Ctrl+Atl+Del before entering my password to unlock. Is there a setting that I can change (I have extensive knowledge of windows registry and system tools, but I have not been able to find an option to "Show only unlock screen".
