Microsoft Courier on Windows 7, I expected differently
by Guest NewsBot- 0 replies

I was excited when I first heard of the Microsoft Courier which looks like a next generation tablet PC wherein in has two screens that can be folder like a normal notebook. I thought this was going head to head with the rumored Apple tablet that had a lot of zooming, touch abilities, gesture sensitive device, but when I heard that Microsoft Courier would most likely use Windows 7, I was somehow disappointed. I have nothing against Windows 7, and I have actually reported how happy and satisfied I am when I installed it on my laptop replacing Windows Vista [...]Post from: Windows Vista Weblog More...

Windows 2003 Administrator Console Login - Freezes
by Guest un1c0rn- 0 replies

Hi Gurus, I am currently having an issue involving the terminal servers momentarily freezing for about 3-5 minutes when logging in as Administrator via RDP Console mode. It only happens when there is an active console session open ie. someone is logged into the physical console and you try to take over the console session remotely using the Administrator account. The terminal server is Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition SP2 and the domain controller is a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server SP2. There is also a secondary domain (exchange server) in this network. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. …

Windows 7 OEM Pricing on 50 Percent Discount
by Guest NewsBot- 0 replies

The Windows 7 operating system would be out in around 3 weeks and as such pricing details are expected to roll-out. The OEM prices have already rolled-out and it seems the discount which was early given during the initial pre-order discount promo is still in effect. It is not clear though whether these discounts come from Microsoft or are shouldered by sellers to boost their hardware sales. In any case, US retailer Newegg.com has already posted various Windows 7 OEM prices where they highlight over 50 percent in savings if you buy now. The full copy of Windows 7 Home [...]Post from: Windows Vista Weblog More...

Boot up Windows 7 in just 10 seconds
by Guest NewsBot- 0 replies
Most people would not have the budget to buy a super power laptop like an Alienware and see their computer boot up Windows Vista in less than 10 seconds. This is the super high-end of the consumer computing market and in most cases users can wait more than 10 seconds before their operating system can boot up. Today, the 10 second barrier can become an average “Joe†standard for booting up Windows with the help of the BIOS being developed from Phoenix. I haven’t heard of Phoenix for the longest time but I can recall my PC back in college [...]Post from: Windows Vista Weblog More...

Listen I was born in a country ran by Liberals. I am here exactly because you were not and still not Communist. If you want COmmunism take our advise: Get on a boat to Venezuela, Cuba, etc. and stay there. While we, people who suffered under 'Socialism' in my case Russian-style, get here. It would be a nice exchange.
