Or maybe Facebook has a keylogger running on their site that hasn't been optimized for IE8. Haha. Not that I would know. But do you have this problem on sites other than Facebook? If not that says something.... For one, that it isn't your computer. Of course, my lack of typing ability took over when I attempted to type "...not just seeing it as a..." in my last reply. Gregg -- Gregg's pet peeves: First of all, what does a peeve look like, and why would anyone want one as a pet? Peeve #1: Apostrophes: when in doubt, leave them out! For example, "It's been nice talking to you." Its' = completely incorrect usage. Stop it! Peeve #2: Your vs. You're "Your" means belonging to you, …

Thanks to all who took the time to respond. I followed Jose's advice and installed and ran the Supenantispyware. i had ran malwarebytes and found nothing. But the Superantispyware detected a lot of stuff in all drives which I deleted and rebooted. Since then I ahve not had any problems. I leave open a lots of programs and IE tabs and still can work without any "not enough resources" message. No need to reboot in the middle of the day. Thanks again to all of you. Webuser

I have checked the registry setting that this option is pointing to (HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Phishing Filter) ValueName = PreventOveride This is not appearing in the registry unless I switch it …

My system keeps getting disk errors on a file : \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\Norton\SRTSP\LightningSand.CFD (always the same index # 30) I have no idea about where that file comes from. In fact, the file is NOT there just before system shut down.... But it is still in error before booting. It happens once or twice a week... I now don't think the file has anything to do with Norton, but I do not find any viruses with 5 different tools !! Many messages on the web refer to that file as 'locked', which is kind of normal as the directory where is goes is system loc…
