Similar to Nash, mine was broken by cat hairs inside the mouse but on the outside of the microswitch - I cleaned these and it's single clicky again. I just wanted to add this message to support the suggestion that the problem can be outside the microswitch to anyone stumbling upon this discussion - I certainly didn't expect cleaning around it to work but it did. -- floppydisk

Hello Rick, Download (ignore the titlle) and run it. Once the cleanup tool is installed, it will appear in Start, programs. Run it, and look for messenger program . Clean up messenger, if such an entry exists. -OR- Try to remove it with Revo Uninstaller (Free version) But use the REVO uninstaller (fourth/last option). That way you are certain to scrap all the registry entries. Let us know what hªppens. Hello, I had to rebuild my box today. Prior to the rebuild I moved all files from all profiles onto a remote drive. My files & docs were protected on the existing build. Once the new build was completed, I am unable to access most docs. The doc title is in green text and the following message sp9ins up when I select one of the docs- "Word cannot open the document: user does not have access privileges (:\rebuild BU\file name) OS = Win XP SP3 Office = Office 2007 Thanks for any assistance~ Mark C.

Hi All, Running Vista HB SP2. Performance Monitor and Reliability Monitor are running and generating data. When I click on an event in Reliability Monitor I get a pop-up message with a red X. Internet Explorer cannot download . (there is a space before the period) The system cannot find the file specified. Any idea what file it's looking for?

Although I was previously able to open Office 2007 file types, now everything fails. I cannot open any of them I cannot save in any of them right-clicking to "Save As" fails. The error messages vary. I have Windows 2000 and Office 2003. Windows Update shows everything is fully updated. I have removed and re-installed FileFormatConverters with no effect. Office 2003 appears to be working properly, but I have no access to Office 2007 file types.
