Windows XP Professional, ver 2002, (9.0.6926) SP2 NTFS Office 2000 Professional SP3 Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11 128 bit cipher strength Uninstalling the 2007 Office Suites. Even though I'm still using Office 2000 SP3, I have downloaded the Office 2007 files from Windows Updates as they came along. I know they are located in Control Panel's System, but I would say they are not installed files since they don't appear on the Program Files menu. Hi All I'm new here so don't be too harsh. :sweat: I know very little about servers and windows server 2008 r2. I was wondering, I got a new server and installed Vista x86 because it was my only bootable dvd at the time and now I want to install Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64 of course) from inside windows. ( not booting to install ) as a clean installation. Would this work Ok. My Server will work with Win 2k8 r2. Thanks TG

A few years ago when troubleshooting issues with a network adapter I came across a trick to disable driver updating for an individual device. I looked again today after encountering a similar problem, but I could no longer find the option. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I swear it was accessible from Device Manager.

Periodically all of my printers disappear from the Printer list. When it occurs, I become aware of the problem because I can't print and receive no warning. I am assuming that the service stops because restarting the computer fixes the problem. Any help in permanently fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated.
