I still can't zoom in or out with Word 2003 and my Microsoft USB mouse. Every other app works fine. (You'd think Microsoft's own mouse would work with their own software...) Carlos Wrote: > Intellipoint 6.1 should have installed an icon on your desktop in order > to > access mouse configuration... Go there and customize the mouse to work > as you want. I'm using Intellipoint 7.1, and it has no settings for zooming. -- ander

Yes it can be done, open Excel and search the help file for "import text file" and it explains the process to you. You might also be better placing Excel related questions in one of the Excel discussion groups, better chance of getting a useful response. -- Regards - Peter "Larry" wrote: > I have a notepad doc that containe names and addresses. I am having the exact same issue. We have a small remote office using Windows Home Server and redirected My Doduments folders to the user folder on the server. When the user attempts to open Office documents, it is slow to open with that "downloading" issue mentioned above. Other documents such as .PDF files are fine. Only Office docs. If I use the "Run" as Russo mentioned above, I too can open files very quickly. I tried maopping a drive letter and it was still slow. If I used the recent list, it was fast. What is the resolution?!?!? -- itprohelp ------------------------------------------------------------------------ …

We mostly still use office 2000 and are planning to move to 2010 hopefully this year. We have a few users that have office 2007 and when they open documents that were created and password protected in office 2000 it allows them to make changes and save the file. Any reason for this or way to get around this?

I can fix that. Here's how: Start > Control Panel > Mouse > Hardware > Enable Touchpad > Apply Thats for an IBM Computer (windows xp) Here's for a Toshiba (windows xp) Start > Control Panel > Mouse > Device Settings > Click On name of touchpad > Click Enable > Apply Either one of those should work on your Laptop or Desktop Try this on any computer. Can anyone help with this question. A user checked out a Word 2007 document from SharePoint 2007, modified, saved and checked the document back in. All appears OK. However when the user selected Save As the following message appeared - -The Converter failed to save the file.- Any suggestions why this appeared. It doesn't happen for other users, so may be his pc settings. Many thanks. -- Tracey Totman ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tracey Totman's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/225198.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/ms-office-support/1012642.htm …
