I am using Windows XP Professional SP3. When I click “My computer,†there is an area titled “Files stored on my computer†that contains two folders. One is titled “Shared Documents,†the other is “My Documents,†I have three hard drives with fifteen partitions and I want to add a “Read Me†file in that area as an index to what is stored on the different hard drive partitions, but dragging and dropping a notepad file don’t work. Can some one tell me how to add another folder to that area in “My Computer.†Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. -- Linusverl

Please direct me to a better place to post this if I am in the wrong place. I have a Dell 4700 with pcie and need to get the fastest card possible to work on this board. I've searched all over and can't get a difinitive answer. Without regard to power supply can someone give me a recomendation?

Hi everyone, Until maybe 2 months ago I could close windows on my system with Alt- F4, with one exception -- the command prompt. If my task bar was empty, I could even bring up the Windows Security dialog and shutdown my system from there. But now Alt-F4 has no effect. I don't even remember exactly when the issue started. I think the culprit was an MS update, but searching Microsoft's site turned up nothing. Can anyone help resolve this issue? Thanks to anyone who does.

I am having an interesting issue on one of my client computers that started just recently. We are running windows server 2008 R2 for our file server, and windows XP Pro as the client OS. The file server has been setup and working flawlessly for just over a year, until recently. We have user folders setup in active directory that maps to the Z: drive. Sporadically throughout the week, and even during the day, one user will loose their Z: drive and get an error that says "Z: is not accessible. Access is denied" Now for the twist. I can go to Run and type \\ServerName\FolderPath on the users's computer, signed in as the user, and access the folder just fine. I…
