GoDaddy.com is the world's largest Registrar (has been for a long time & still is today, but things change in this world), so Kevin being parked at GoDaddy's is is not surprising Another competitor is Register.com but it's just not as good as GoDaddy when you STUDY the cost & performance in a LONG RUN. I myself have registered 12 domains - all thru Godaddy.com, Onlinefilefolder & photoalbums - all of which aare FREE with domain purchase, and domain costs less than GoDaddy's competition. So don't be surprising - Kevin made a right choice, despite being injured in the head in a warzone. Just FYI.

I have a Vista 32 Media Center, and it had developed a problem (after removing a codec) where accessing "My Videos" would cause a crash. I set Windows Media Center as the default player for .avi (they are all divx) and the problem went away. Before that I had tried many different codecs, system restores, updates, etc. A simple fix for a frustrating problem. I hope this helps someone else. -- tristanz ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tristanz's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/247105.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-help/724357.htm http://forums.techarena.i…

The next Microsoft Windows operating system should put everything—and I mean everything—in a sandbox. There was a time when I disagreed with the idea that the core of Microsoft's next major operating system, Windows 8, would be a hypervisor, or virtualized machine monitor. Now, however, I see the beauty of this approach, especially for consumers. An operating system that runs everything as a virtualized machine could be one of the most significant and beneficial steps Microsoft has ever taken in the continuing development of the Windows platform. Plus, there is evidence, going all the way back to the early days of Windows 7, that this is the exact direction …

Please Note: This early release of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Beta is not available for home users. The SP1 Beta does not provide new end-user features, and installation is not supported by Microsoft. Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Beta helps keep your PCs and servers on the latest support level, provides ongoing improvements to the Windows Operating System (OS), by including previous updates delivered over Windows Update as well as continuing incremental updates to the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 platforms based on customer and partner feedback, and is easy for organizations to deploy a single set of updates. Windows 7 and …
