If you want to 'convert basic to dynamic disc' (http://www.dynamic-disk.com/basic-disk-convert-to-dynamic-disk.html), you just use the disk management is ok. Although dynamic disk has much advantages than basic, but I think you will want to 'convert dynamic disk to basic disk' (http://www.dynamic-disk.com/convert-dynamic-disk-to-basic.html) one day. -- apple20121314

In previous posts, we&rsquove written about the ways we&rsquore making IE9 much faster, like the new script engine that uses multiple cores, and the new rendering subsystem that uses the dedicated graphics chip found on modern PCs. Another aspect of browser performance involves the external code that IE runs on behalf of users, or add-ons. Add-ons introduce unique features that can enhance the browsing experience. However, they also decrease the browser&rsquos performance in crucial activities like navigating to webpages and creating new tabs. In this way, add-ons affect key usage scenarios like startup and navigation. Add-on performance is int…

  10. Sure, Microsoft is selling almost one million copies of Windows 7 every day, but many of those sales are to consumers with new PCs. The big question for this release is business deployments. Bulletin Severity Rating:Critical - This security update resolves a publicly disclosed vulnerability in Windows Shell. The vulnerability could allow remote code execution if the icon of a specially crafted shortcut is displayed. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could gain the same user rights as the local user. Users whose accounts are configured to have fewer user rights on the system could be less impacted than users who operate with administrative user rights. Read the Full Article

Hello this problem has also plaqued me. The solution is 1. Download Zap Messenger and delete every instance of messenger via add remove programs or change programs in Vista. Delete everything "live" eg office live add on etc 2. Download Windows live messeneger 8.5 from http://www.oldversion.com/MSN_Messenger.html 3. Install this program and bam MSN WORKS AGAIN NO ERRORS. All other supposed "FIXES" Do not work with vista I have tried everything. Version 8.5 beta still works witout forcing you to upgrade before you can sign in. MSN PLUS still works with this version. 100% working. This is the fix until microsoft gets off their a$$es to fix …

I subscribe to Big Fish games and have a shedload of their games already since I've been a member for about 3 years. I've had very few problems with them in all that time. I downloaded one of their trial games today and got an access violation message saying it thad tried to read from 0xFFFF0581. So I downloaded and installed DirectX and tried again. This time the message address reads 0xFFFF05A7. I've noticed a few other strange things happening with other games in the past few days. I've had one game for some time and it's been working fine but recently it's started hanging badly and then when I reloaded it half the window was b…
