Hi, I have installed an SMTP virtual server on my webserver that should relay the emails to an mail server. This works fine, but now, once a day, the SMTP virtual server suddenly stoppes and my emails are not delivered anymore untill I manually restart the smtp server. Does someone know why this happens and how to prevent it? Thx

FUTURE of MICROSOFT - MY OPINION

Rick, Yes it's true progress involves getting better hardware to accomodate supposedly better Operating System. I still remember DOS vs. Windows3.1 discussions in memory back in early 1990's, you should've seen DOS fanatics foaming at mouth, blasting Windows and even mouse as a "useless" addition to a keyboard, they would ramble on & on how keyboard is faster. Which it is - power users don't move a mouse whenever possible. I also realize replacing hardware generates revenues for corporations & jobs. In Capitalism it's bad to be stuck with the same TV for example, for a decade, as such behaviors cause recessions. Albeit constant replacing of m…

To You who made fun of me & mentioned need for a "shrink"

You don't need to tell me about 2-side printing as I was insisting on it back in the day when America was happy, sandwiches were oversized, and Bill Clinton has just began his tenure track. Back in the day they thought I am "the guy who saves every crumble, bit, nut, screw & of course CHEAP paper). Now it's common. I do print on both sides, besides - one sided printing means you carry double weight and need to flip thru double number of pages. Now the most important part of your advise, sir, is about a shrink. I want you to know ONE THING: I am today 38. I look at early 20's and girls down to 18 never suspect. OK? I am probably doing something rig…

Hi, I want to give another user (bkupuser1) the SeSecurityPrivilege like Administrator has. I can see the Administrator has this right by doing Run As Admin on a CMD box, the typing whoami /all I tried to do it with a program called gpedit.msc (Group Policy Editor), this looked like what I wanted. It allowed me to add any number of special privileges to any user, and I did add SeSecurityPrivilege to the bkupuser1 - However, when I started a CMD prompt as the user and did: whoami /all I could see the privilege was NOT granted to the user. I tried gpupdate /force, but still no good. I rebooted, still no good. I tried using another program rsop.m…
