The cell without the image was repeated in the next 8 pages. Neither could I re-size the cell and flowchart on the first page, nor could I delete the cell in the pages below that. What I was hoping for is that I will be able to get the flowchart right and can re-size it as required. Further, I find, whenever a table extends into the next page or I copy - paste a large text into a cell of the table, the table goes hey ware (can only be deleted) and the blank cells in the subsequ…

A small companies computer service company abandoned them and is uncontactable. Here's the situation. 1. They do not have the administrator password for their windows 2008 small business server. 2. We now do have access to an administrator account. 3. The server requires re-configuration as the GPO and SECURITY templates are non existent/wide open. 1. Is there a solution to reset the password ? 2. Should I call Microsoft ? 3. Should I call Dell ? (it's a dell Server) Utilities tried NT Password (Does not effect Active Director…

Hey guys, I am new to this forum, so hey everyone. :) I have just setup a Windows Server box, setup RRAS, DNS, and DHCP, which is all working fine. But it seems to be running slow, for the first few seconds to any service. Running a tracert to google produces this: Tracing route to google.com [66.102.11.104] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1

Bulletin Severity Rating:Important - This security update resolves four privately reported vulnerabilities in Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG). The most severe of these vulnerabilities could allow elevation of privilege if a user visits an affected Web site using a specially crafted URL. However, an attacker would have no way to force users to visit such a Web site. Instead, an attacker would have to persuade users to visit the Web site, typically by getting them to click a link in an e-mail message or Instant Messenger message that takes users to the attacker's Web site. Bulletin Severity Rating:Important - This security update resolves two privately reported vulnerabilities in Microsoft Office that could allow remote code execution if a user opens a specially crafted PowerPoint file. An attacker who successfully exploited any of these vulnerabilities could take complete control of an affected system. An attacker could then install programs view, change, or delete data or create new accounts with full user rights. Users whose accounts are configured to have fewer user rights on the system could be less impacted than users who operate with administrative user rights. View the full article

An attacker who successfully exploited any of these vulnerabilities could gain the same user rights as the local user. Users whose accounts are configured to have fewer user rights on the system could be less impacted than users who operate with administrative user rights. View the full article

Now I have a problem too! I have setup a local laserprinter witch can be used when i am logged in with RDP on Server 2008. This works fine ( so no problem ) Now i try to do the same with a HP 8500 Pro wireless printer in my home network. But now something strange happens, it prints out one line and the rest is blank. I've tried to change the spooler so the entire document is first placed in the spooler before printing, but this didn't help. Does enyone have an idea how to solve this problem? :geek:

Hi I have installed Windows 2008 Enterprise 64 bit. The installation is a standard installation with no other additional software. I shared a folder C:\Shared. When I access the folder from a windows XP machine I have no problems. I can copy or write files to the shared folder from Windows XP. So far so good. There is a shared application called Scala accounting system we use. This application exe and dlls are stored on the server C:\Shared\Scala folder. A shortcut is created for C:\Shared\Scala\SFW.exe on the Windows XP machine desktop location. When I open the shortcut from the windows XP desktop it takes too long for the application to load (almost 5 mins). Bu…
