I've just bought a portable hard drive and i comes up with the error "please insert a disk into removable drive". I've tried changing the drive name from 'F:' to other letters and nothing works. I've tried uninstalling via device manager and reinstalling. I've tried searching for driver updates. None of these works. Can anyone please help? Thanks.

Hi, this may be a bit of an intro post in the wrong forum, but since I experienced some issues posting, well here goes. The RTE editor wont catch my cursor, had to disable it. Firefox 3.6.3. The load time was over 30 seconds per page, but strangely enough it accelerated to "normal" after disabling the RTE. (Check my GEO-IP for ref.) Sorry if this is the second post I have not seen the first ever show up. Gears of war installs but I keep getting can not load with modified executable code. There have been no mods done on this computer. I have installed the first patch I have installed the TU3 patch I have uninstalled and reinstalled and applied TU3 only I have tried after uninstall to run just GOW no patch nothing it keeps telling there is a Mod executable. Can anyone help getting the game going?

I kept getting an error when I start GOW. I have installed patches tried without patches it says I can not run with a modified executable code. I have only installed the GOW patch then uninstalled and reinstalled TU3 no modified anything. Does someone know how to fix this? It will not run at all.

Can't re-enable microphone array

Folks- I run run Vista Home Premium SP2 on a Dell XPS M1730 with built in microphones(2). I inadvertantly disabled the Sigmatel Hi Def Audio microphones from: CONTROL-PANEL\SOUND\RECORDING\CONFIGURE I expected the microphone array would appear with a CONFIGURE option to enable it...but it no longer appears under RECORDING and I can't figure out how to get it back. Any suggestions? Thanks. -Gary

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit version), and now I can't sync my HTC smartphone with my PC. Worked fine previously with Win 7 Home Premium, but now whenever I try and use/install Windows Mobile Device Centre, I get an error message saying WMDC can't be installed because one or more Windows components are missing. I've tried: restarting and reconnecting my smartphone rebooting my PC and reconnecting phone installing windows updates donwloading WMDC 6.1 and re-installing - all with same result where do I find the missing Windows components to make WMDC work?
