I have configured a .bat script to start iexplore -k www.websitename and put it in the user login scripts under the mgpo on a windows 7 pc which works but when i click on a button on the website it opens a normal ie8 window giving access to address bar and menus is there a way to stop it opening a new window and load up in the existing kiosk mode page or open another window that is also in kiosk mode ?? The problem is that if you have installed the Exchange 2010 SP1 managment tools on a Win7 computer, you can not close the EMC. Instead you will have a dialog box saying "You must close all dialog boxes before you can close Exchange Management Console". Only way to close it is via task manager. Hello Guys, I have the following situation that, after running a specific policy that change desktop wallpaper on Windows XP machines, there appearing the shadows on the background of icons. I have tested also, that shadows on desktop icons start appearing only after a client takes a policy which change wallpaper on desktop. It looks like, this is a really problematic issue. I've tried 4 different working CD/DVD drives (3 internal, one USB) with my present OS (XP with service pack 3) and cannot read DVDs. I seem to be okay with CDs, both audio and install disks. The drives seem to work when I put them in another computer of similar ilk, so I'm confident pretty confident its the OS. I've reinstalled drivers, and expunged Lower and upper filters from the registry, to no avail. Just hoping to install Dragonspeak 11... If it were Dreagonspeak 10 I'd download it. When I try to install Adobe Flash Player 9, I get the following error message "Unable to authenticate install." I have use the flash uninstall utility to remove the existing corrupt install, reboot the system and try to install the flash player again still I am getting the same message. I recently got an HTC Touch Pro 2, and it is currently running OS Version 5.2. I am trying to update it from my PC that runs Win7 Ultimate (64bit). When I first plugged it into my computer, I was prompted to install Windows Mobile Device Manager, which I did. I also soon after installed the Zune software on my PC to update my phone. Now when I connect via USB, my computer recognizes the phone as a storage device, but Zune wont recognize it, and often crashes when I ask to play the phones files in it, and Windows Mobile Manager won't recognize that the phone is plugged in at all. I am using Windows 7 and use my normal e-mail address thru Windows Live mail which has been operating ok until the last week and now my computer will download no more then 3 or 4 messages at which time I receive a message that the POP3 server is not responding. I am using WIN7 Pro 64 bit and I made a couple of dumb errors which I now do not know how to fix. While trying to create a virtual hard drive, I think I inadvertently created a reserved space on my main C:\ partition which in the process, moved the boot information to that reserved space. Ever since I downloaded the update for Windows 7 from Windows Update, I have been getting the same problem: unexpected shutdowns, problems closing programs when restarting and dramatically drop in power flow and increase in overheating. I have a Gateway NV79. I have a Windows 7 Professional upgrade disk. When I try to upgrade, I get a message to use the Windows anytime upgrade. I tried to use it with the key from my disc and it doesn't like that either. Is there a way to use the upgrade disc that I have or the key with Windows anytime upgrade? Is there a registry key that can be changed that would allow me to use the disc? The computer is currently running Windows 7 home primium.
