I've read another thread with the same problem of "no save" but the solution there doesn't apply here. Until last week, I could use the snipping tool and save the results. I use this a lot - it's a brilliant feature. Now, when I click on "Save As", nothing happens. If I click "Close" I am asked if I want to save the snip first. I click "Yes", the application closes. What I can do is to click "Copy" in snipping tool, and then open Paint Shop Pro and paste into that. We have an issue with a particular computer that is requiring an administrative sign in (through the Windows prompt) every time the Found New Hardware Wizard detects a new USB flash drive. Any ideas on why this might be happening? Hi, I also am having a problem like "Devices and Printers no show." When I installed Windows 7 32-bit on mg 4 Gb Dell D830 laptop, the Devices and Printers screen showed several devices, like the mouse and keyboard. I added 4 network printers and a scanner and they showed as well. A couple of weeks later, the Devices and Printers window became empty. I added another printer from within Notepad, and still nothing showed in Devices and Printers. The printers, my scanner and other devices all work properly. I tried installing Microsoft Security Essentials, It was unable to move beyond a point in the installation process so I exited out and then uninstalled the program. Tried again (making sure my current security software was turned off) and again it did not complete. This time I do not see it available on the list to uninstall but it is listed under my programs. I also receive the error message when I try to start my computer and open MSE of 'I need to reinstall Microsoft Security Client. Error Code: 0x8007064e. Infuriating prediction spelling - it suddenly appeared on my Samsung B7330 with Windows Mibile 6.5 and I can't switch it off. It affects all text entry including Calendar. After reading here that, I don't expect to receive an update before a scan unless the prior update check was greater than 24 hour in the past. I notice that when I ran Windows XP SP3 in VMware player and installed the updates that automatically downloaded today my MSE v4.0 beta did not do an update imediately prior to running todays scan. Hi, I customized the config.xml to deploy Office 2010 Pro Plus. It installs great so far. At my company we got a third party deployment software which just launches the setup.exe. After the setup is done it returns an error code like "3010 - ERROR_SUCCESS_REBOOT_REQUIRED". (It returns 3010 because I've set SETUP_REBOOT to never) Now my problem is that this return code is intepreted as an error of the installation by the third party deployment software. I recently reinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium on my laptop after I got a nasty virus.
