I upgraded to a new PC recently and purchased Office Home and Student 2010 at the same time. The computer store loaded it for me. I have 2 laptops that came with Office 2010 preinstalled and I am having a heck of a time trying to get it activated. On both laptops I get to varying degrees of installation before it freezes up. Have new computer and tried to install Office Home 2010. Kept getting prompt warning me that I should'nt allow .ex file. I tried to override, but the process kept starting over again. When i open a brand new program Pinnacle Studio 15 Ultimate Collection, the import module gives immediately an error as indicated above. In the Pinnacle -Forum it is sometimes explained as a windows problem. I have also a new Toshiba Qosmio X770 computer with windows 7 Home Premium SP1 on it. Ipaid for and received the download links from you. I have tried several times to download the software below using the download links you have sent to me. However, it does not work and I get messages that the links are in 32 bit format and my operating system is in 64 bit links. There is no links or tools to use that correctly change the 32 bit format to the needed 64 bit format. I uninstalled Microsoft Security Essensials and it went fine. Then i started installing Spyware Doctor and he warned me that i have another antivirus on the computer, i pressed to see which one is it and it's MSE. I pressed uninstall the issue but it's not anywhere. I tried to uninstall it with revo uninstaller, appremover but no one finds it. And also I can't install MSE to my computer. I have a 64 bit Windows 7 OS so I installed the 64 bit version of MSE. When I try to run the manual definitions update by clicking mpam-fex64.exe I get a "not a valid win32 application" error, I verified that it is not trying to run in compatability mode already. Do not know what to do. EDIT: I downloaded the 32 bit definitions update and tried running that instead and I got the same error, it seems that I am missing something very basic...
