I had to repair windows and everything seems to have been corrected Okay, except I cannot see all of my favorites for the links or the folders. What’s strange is that when I started re-building my favorites I get a message that “The Folder Exists, but I don’t see the folder.” When I use the online Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery I can see my favorites. "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"
by Guest john_doughx- 0 replies

1) I definitely have internet connection. I have tried connecting wirelessly and via LAN same problem. I can however connect through windows updates and have received several updated from Microsoft even though anytime I try Internet Explorer I get the same message. 2) Chrome and Safari are also installed on the machine and they have the same problem however I am under the impression that everything was working fine until IE9 was installed. 3) I would be more than willing to go back to IE8 if that would solve the problem only I am unsure exactly how to do that. 4) The computer is a Toshiba lap top with Windows Vista Home Premium. IE9 Zoom Level resets back to 100%
by Guest crutch_145- 0 replies
I have a 16x9 monitor, so I like to view my IE zoom level at 150%. The problem is that when I reboot my system, IE reverts back to 100% zoom level. Also, occasionally even if I simply close IE and reopen it will revert back to 100%. I have tried changing the Zoom level in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Zoom but that also changes back to 100000. Any ideas on how I can make the Zoom level 150% permanently? Thanks, Justin Continue reading...

Is Win 7 Security 2012 an authorized Windows product
by Guest David.Finley- 0 replies
I was "forced" to purchase a program "Win 7 Security 2012" when I could not open a normal screen that was not blocked by the Win 7 screen. I wonder if this program is an authorized Microsoft program as the methods used to force me to purchase this product were not in the usual manner that I believe Microsoft uses. I have had nothing but difficulties with my computer since this, although, I was able to get to my programs and on the Internet until this AM. I am now in the "Safe mode" with internet access. Every time that I go to "normal" start up, I get a little box that states that it is setting up personal settings for Windows\SysWOW64\mscories.dll.install. C…
