This question is specifically about roaming profiles, not local profiles. Are there any methods to convert the old roaming profile stored on the server to the V2 version that Windows 7 uses when a user moves from XP to Windows 7? I have used USMT in the past for local profiles, but USMT does not appear to be the best solution for this question since that would not modify the existing roaming profile data, but would require running this tool on each workstation to create a new local profile and not take advantage of the profile that is already stored on the server. After cleaning a virus off an infected system in our network, the computer ceased communicating with the network. I removed the computer from our domain controller and haven't been able to rejoin.
