I have a new install of Win 7-64 Pro. It runs perfectly fine after the boot but the boot process has a hang issue. I have reformatted the drive, checked for all types of errors and re-installed (clean) the OS several times with the same result. The hang is right after the Windows logo graphic appears. The logo freezes for 10-11 minutes. After which, it resumes with the usual logging in then desktop. During the hang period, the HD light does flash once every .8 seconds. A few days ago I went into my favorites. They started to duplicate themselves, so much so that in some cases I have 5 of each. They are out of order, and when I try to scroll down it keeps coming back to the top, but taking them out of order and then duplicating each one. The mouse hovers over them and has a mind of it's own. I took my computer to Best Buy and they had to idea why it was doing that. Now I am using Google Chrome, but would prefer to use IE 9. Can you please help me get this straightened out. If the answer is to uninstall and then reinstall I will do that, but at the same time I want to make sure I don't lose the favorites. HELP!!!! Hi I would like to know if Windows XP SP3 will resolve an issue with Keyboard Language when using RDP. I am finding that when I use RDP to connect to a remote machine that the Keyboard Language on the Remote Machine is changing to English (United States). This occurs if the Remote machine is in Japanese Chinese Traditional Chinese Simplified Korean Thai German Italian French (France) French (Canada) My host machine is configured to use English (Australian) so RDP is not even matching my local machine. I own a new Samsung Omnia 735 with windows phone 6.5. I use one computer with Windows Vista and three computer with XP. I do not use outlook but I do use windows live calender and have two windows live Email accounts. I can only use one windowslive Email account and I see no possiblity to save all the contacts in it to my Samsung 735. When I change the windowslive Email Account all contacts from the account before are gone. Besides that I did not find a way to get my windowslive calender synchronized with my Samsung 735? Apologies if this question has already been asked, but I need to know if it is possible to disable usb data transfer but retain the power on a Motorola ES400 running Windows Mobile 6.5. For addtional security, we would need to retian the charging function, to allow a 12v carger to connect and charge the device, while preventing access to the data funtion, while away from the base. Hi all - in Real-Time protection MSE is alerting me for malware etc. Fine. But - why must I take the APPLY action in this modes? (I can understand this in SCAN mode) Why does it no do this AUTOMATICALLY based on my rules set in Real-Time Protection? All I see in the pop-up window is "suspended" and Apply Action... I have recently downloaded and started using Microsoft Security Essential as Virus protection for my Lap top. I find that whenever I run the Security essential for a full scan it hangs at System32\com\mtsadmin.tlb. I tried scanning number of times, but each time it hangs when it comes to scan the above path. I have an issue with the "Apply" button in the Sound Properties panel. It is always greyed out. I am trying to set the Bluetooth as the default output device, but can't apply the change.
