Windows Live Security Essentials 2011 is listed in add & remove programs but I cannot find the source files and when I try to remove it it is not listed in the menue of live programs that pops up. I tried downloading a new WLSE 2011 but if it did download , I haven't found it. I'm using an HP pc with windows 7 professional, 32bit. and I have Windows Defender, AVG turned on and I have Viper turned off . I was downgrading my computer from Windows 7 to Windows Xp, all the steps I have completed successfully except the command m /y "C:\Windows.old\Program Files" C:\. Everytime I type this command into the command prompt it answers access denied. I have even went a step further and tried the move /y "C:\Windows.old\Documents and Settings" C:\ which completed successfully, could someone please tell me why my access is being denied, and how can I fix this problem. For a while, I unhooked my Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex - which had pictures, favorites, and my Norton 360 security - from my 2007 Dell PC I ran awhile without it and may have adware or a virus. My explorer internet options change each time i start windows. I want to see a new tab page when a new tab is open. I set it from internet options and it works. However when i start windows again, i see a blank page instead of a new tab page when i open a tab. I checked the settings on history, and it does not delete browsing history on exit. I've been using RunOnceEx commands to install software after deploying Windows 7 SP1 x64 and it's working great all of the programs are installing. The only problem I'm seeing is that the logging is not working as described in this KB article. Hello everyone, I'm been working / testing MDT 2010 and made changes to the customsetting.ini file. When some of the settings are removed, it seems MDT doesn't know and keeps using the delete settings. How can the customsetting.ini be refreshed to take on the updated setting changes? I replied to a similar post that was answered by Kosh Vorlon. I have a computer running 32-bit Vista Home Premium that has been infected by Trojan:win32/alureon.FE. I downloaded WDO Beta and burned it to a CD. The affected computer booted from the CD, and I ran a full scan and WDO didn't find anything. The signatures that it tried to use are 5 years old (v1.0.0.0, 2006) and the computer is too crippled to connect to the internet.
