On most of my websites there are portions of the site content that won't display. If I scroll up and down real fast portions of it will [very briefly] display and the moment I move away from the scroll it goes back to blank screen. for example: I play games on pogo.com (it is on my allow list) and when I go to the page to play a game the game won't display. I can hear the music and I can scroll up and down and I'll see portions of the game but when I move off of the scrollbar it goes right back to a blank screen. It is happening on other sites too that I don't play games on. I noticed ads are doing that. How do I make it let me see all content and play my games? …

Hi, I bought a Compaq Evo D510 a while ago and now it's really slow. I want to install Windows XP on it because it came with a Windows XP Certificate of Authenticity (COA) stuck onto it. However, I don't have the Windows XP installation CD and I don't know anyone who does. My computer doesn't support Windows Vista/7 so I really need a CD. I believe I've discovered a problem with internet time sync when the RealTimeIsUniversal registry key is set to "true". In a default Windows install, the real time clock (RTC) is expected to be in local time. If you sync to an internet time server in this default configuration, once the time is synced Windows will write the correct time back to the CMOS RTC as expected. However, if the RTC is in UTC and you have enabled the RealTimeIsUniversal key, the correct time is no longer written to the CMOS RTC after internet time sync. I've been using Microsoft Security Essentials for almost a year and there's never been anything listed in the "history" tab. I've set delete for 3 months, the longest period of time option available. I'm sure there should be SOMETHING in there. Can someone explain to me why this could be? I've never, ever gone for almost a year without having dozens of threats listed, almost on every scan. I've noticed some fishy things happening with IE9 lately that is causing me to miss some content. First thing i noticed today is that i cannot click on the large icons in the middle of the microsoft support page: http://support.microsoft.com/ and the open link options when i right-click are grayed out. So right away I know something is off if I can't even access Microsoft's own site! Having a similar problem as apparently many PC users setting up Microsoft Office 2010 (trial version), but on my Mac. I use Office 2008 on it, but my work may soon require me to be familiar with OneNote. Error message says I need MSXML 6.10.1129.0, but I haven't found anything on that component for a Mac. I have imported and restored all the emails files I had backed on an external hard drive into XP Outlook 2007. However, after importing the old files, I seem to have lost all my current (i.e. 2012) emails, folders and tasks? Can anyone please let me know if there is a way of reverting Outlook back to the way it was previous to the importing with all my current emails, personal folders and tasks as they were? I just purchased this Microsoft Office Plus 2010 through my work. I am allowed to install it on one computer at home and one portable device. I currently have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit installed on my home computer. The install slows down and stops at about 70%. I have uninstalled with "fix it", cleaned my registry, renamed the help to "old help", have it set on clean boot and none of these things together get me anywhere but a frozen install bar at about 70%. MSE is set to run a full scan every night while I sleep. The last three nights, I woke to find the computer completely frozen, with the display on, but unable to move the cursor, and no reponse from any key strokes. I had to power down the system each morning. I ran the full scan today while watching, and found the freeze occuring during the scan of the Windows/temp folder. With Administrator privledges, I deleted everything in this folder and restarted. So far, this has resolved the problem but will not know for sure until a full scan runs again tonight. I should add that the Windows/temp folder was chocked full of some rather lengthly-named folders, most of wh…

Several Days ago my computer which has been running fine for nearly a year suddenly started prompting me with a pop up that says that Windows is not Genuine. The computer was built by GeoStorm and likely has an OEM version of the software. It is running Windows 7 Ultimate.
