Help if you aware of that unknown malicare as telemarket (new different security software?). My daughter's laptop window 7, using MS security essential same as my pc and laptop (Win XP) as I comfort with. It's control over your security kept pop-up for purchase new liscense on different anti-virus agent, also try to get into msconfig or remove program (no appear in there) and it keep blocking me to into there. I presently have Office 2007 installed on my computer, running Windows 7 64 bit. I wanted to try the Professional version of Office 2010 so I could try Publisher. I installed 2010 trial, and left 2007 installed as that was an option. I then used Word 2010 for a couple of hours and was quite enjoying the program... until I went to PRINT! I have MS Vista Home Edition with service pak 2. Lately, when I attempt to close windows programs I receive a msg "Operation restricted contact system Administrator. For the past 5 days, I have searched the Internet for this problem and tried them all but nothing seems to work. I have completed several MS Essential "Full Scans" which showed no viruses or Malware infections. I think a screenshot describes my situation perfectly. Here So what is happening is that multiple (over 20) windows of mpcmdrun.exe are opening within minuets of each other. Nothing has recently changed on my computer, nor have I installed anything new lately. It started happening earlier today. Uninstalled MSE, rebooted computer, no new windows. security essentials found trojan and removed it (Java type),for last 2days winrscmde has been on taskbar(stopped working),have removed svchost.exe from windows/system folder,have ran command prompt sfc/scannow, all system files ok,have not yet run msconfig clean boot or restart error check. Hi, I tried to install Microsoft Security Essentials, I think it was version 2.1.1116.0, on an upgraded HP Pavilion A345C with Windows XP SP3 but there were problems. When using Internet Explorer 9, version 9.0.8112.16421, within the last few days, many of the webpages that I visit do not appear in my history or even register as being visited by having the link change colour. I have not changed any of my settings since I installed IE9 a few weeks ago nor can I find any option in the settings that would account for this. So I have the windows.old folder on my laptop and I was wondering if I could move all the applications in the Program files over into the Windows 7 Program Files and run the applications just like they were installed in Windows 7 instead of Vista, which was my previous operating system. I can run the programs in the Windows.old folder so I thought if it would be possible just to merge the Program Files over so i don't have to re download all the old applications and games. I have been trying to update Win7 Enterprise with SP1 and keep getting an incompatibility message. The message also refers to a problem with Security Essential which is not installed. Hello, We have a GPO to redirect my documents/documents to the user's home folder which is not working for our XP clients but it is working for our Windows 7 clients. Basically, we were redirecting to server 1 and now trying to redirect to server 2 but XP still thinks it needs to redirect to server 1...win 7 sees server 2.
