Can you show me how to remove a virus from my computer manually? I've been trying for 5 days now to remove the "Program:Win32/WinMaxmizer" virus from my computer but have been unsuccessful. I've used the Vipre Rescue Scanner/Virus & Spyware Remover and yesterday I used Microsoft Safety Scanner/Virus & Spyware Remover. I have Microsoft Security Essentials on my computer but it has been ineffective in removing this virus. The virus is still on my computer and I believe the only way to remove it is manually. Hi, I'm new here. This is my first post. I don’t know what happen but, I ended up formatting one my drives as type DYNAMIC and not BASIC. I tried to fix it by using Disk part. This is what I did: List Disk Select disk 1 Convert Basic I then got the massage the disk is not empty. I reformatted the disk and it was still DYNAMIC so I tried to convert it again and received the not empty message again. I think I might uninstall Norton IE Security. Since upgrading Norton to 2012 from 2011 I have been unable to stream music. I went back to 2011 and its all good again. I have read that Norton can be a problem in other ways and that it might be hard to do a total uninstall. Does the latest Norton Uninstall tool do a complete job? If not how can I make sure it is fully uninstalled. what other (hopefully free) alternatives do people here use? Hi, I just got a USB cable for my T-mobile phone. When I connect the phone to my 64 bit Windows 7 PC, it only shows files to download a driver (not the files on my phone). The driver is ActiveSync, which I think, does not work with my computer. In the error message when I tried to install it and in some internet search, it said I should use Windows Mobile Device Center, so I downloaded 64 bit version of it (it said it was for Vista, but I read somewhere that it should work with Windows 7 as well). original title: Potentially Unprotected! Hi, I used Microsoft Security Essentials for about a year and i face this problem. I always had to do a quick scan because the Anti-Virus said "Potentially Unprotected". It always work but everyday when i turn on my computer it will show "Potentially Unprotected" Status. Hi I was wondering if it were possible to configure PE to use the drivers from the host computer? I am aware that I can inject drivers into PE but I am having issues with that approach - not all of the drivers for the hardware are being loaded correctly. The goal of the PE environment is for it to be a diagnostic environment I can run a series of tests to confirm faults but it needs to run a wide variety of hardware configurations. Currently I can get some hardware working ok but I get the impression that PE isn't detecting all the hardware and installing drivers. I am trying to print a web form with images. Images are set with the use of tags. Src of img tags have reference to different images in a server with https:// protocol. When I have loaded the form, i can see all images being load successfully. But when I printed the form it does not have those images with I have tried setting up "print background colors and images" in print settings. But it didn't solve the issue. This is not happening in IE8. IE8 prints all images without even checking the print setting. IE9 does not seem to grab the image when it is being sent to print. I have also tested this with Chrome and Firefox. Both works fine. I am not sure whether this is…
