MSE is seeing a caphaw.a infection on my laptop. It says its deleted 26 instances of it in the last 3 days but it keeps coming back and can't seem to pick up the source. I did a full scan on MSE, a full scan on Malwarebytes, a full scan on Spybot but the two later couldn't pick it up. I downloaded the Microsoft Security Essentials without much of a problem to my mother's Compaq computer which runs on Vista, I believe, (unless it's XP)and she also has dial-up AOL service. After it was loaded, I was told that updates were needed and the Internet needed to remain on in order to do so. The program has yet to complete loading any updates and freezes up about half way through, or we get a message saying that the computer needs to be running the Internet which it already is. I have windows 7 and ie9 in use. The problem is that when I check my email from my service provider ( internet company ) I must go into Advanced settings on ie9 and turn off the "Disable Script Debugging for internet explorer" in order for the Java script etc. to work properly for me to get my emails. Then when I go back to the internet, I must turn the Script Debugging box back on in order to properly view the web pages. This is most annoying as I must switch back and forth all of the time. Hi, against my will I've upgraded to Office 2010. I was perfectly happy with 2003 but because I bought a new PC, I didn't have a choice. It's a huge pain but there you go. So currently I have Office 2003 on PC1 and 2010 on PC2. I have hundreds of entries in Word on Autotext and Autocorrect and want to migrate them all over to PC2. I realise there are other articles about this issue already up but frankly they assume much more knowledge than I have. I just installed terminal services with TS web access on my Windows Server 2008 machine. On this server, I also installed IIS 7 where a website is hosted. When I try to connect to TS web access via http://servername/ts I get an error: the map don't exists. The system thinks I try to reach the website (also reachable via http://servername). Is it not possible to host a website and terminal services on one machine?

Hi Friends, My colleague install the virtual PC on his work machine and install Windows 7 enterprise on it. Then he joined this VM to the domain. Unfortunately, he had to leave the company and I am working on his work machine. Now I want to use the VM that my colleague Installed under his profile. I copied the .vmc file from his profile and launch the VM. It starts fine and prompts me for the login. But when I enter my credentials it says “There are currently no log on services available to service to log on request”. I have an old tower with XP SP3, my family has three laptops--one with XP SP3, one with Vista, and a Windows 7 laptop--and an ipad2. The local cable company rents us a modem, and we network through our "old faithful" Belkin Wireless G Router. It's going on 4 years. Our previous router was a solid machine as well, but we "upgraded" to the Belkin in 2008. I'm a desktop/tower guy, unlike the rest of my family (obviously), who are all into laptops and macintosh silliness. LS, I have Outlook 2010. When I move a message from the inbox to a folder called 'Second Folder' then the next time it is in the recent list of the move button.
