My internet explorer has stopped saving my history and popular sites that you can use when you open a new tab. My history shows my computer history for some reason, but not sites used. I just ripped some cd's as .wav files and WMP library added them but after converting these files to .mp3 files WMP library will not add them. I even tried converting them with a different sound editor - still no add. It will play the files though. I also tried changeing the file names - still no add. I have purchased a new machine which runs on Windows7Professional with a 2010 Microsoft Office. The data for my Outlook was copeid from a lower version. When i opened with the old .pst file I had two calendars - first titled Calendar the second titled Trish's calendar. Each time I save an appointment it marks both calendars. Hello community! The issue: When I try to write something in the adress bar and that site wasn't found, I am redirected to a site called basicscan.com(something like a search engine). I have searched for a solution in google and it showed me that it was a malware. I scanned my PC with Microsoft Security Essentials, some items were found and removed/quorantined but it didn't fix the problem. The problem appears when I am using Firefox and Google Chrome. It seems that everything is OK with my Internet Explorer though. I found and deleted basicscan program using add/remove program but it still didn't work. Microsoft Security Essentials Quick scan always stops on SysWOW64\aticfx32.dll and does nothing , I've tried to exclude this from the scan so I can get the scan to do the rest of the computer scan but it always stops on it. Hello there, I am a Systems Engineer trying to find a fix for the 1068 error: the dependency service or group failed to start I have looked at all the forums and previous posts with people having similar issues but none of the fixes have worked. Resetting the TCP/IP stack has not fixed this issue & neither has system restore. My issue has happened on 3 machines and the only connection I can find is when you connect Windows 7 Professional to a Widows 2003 Domain. During internet browsing a pop-up recurringly appears sating that my "browser setting change" and should i either update my settings or to ignore. I press ignore and it keeps on returning.
