I have not been able to make back up files for several months, and I have had an uneasy feeling about the security of my system for longer than that. Around February 12, I had an episode of popups telling me my copy of windows was not genuine. Once that got straighted out, I installed full MSE during which time it found and removed 13 Trojans They were from the Glocker, zalux$1, Zalux$zondo,zom, and zalux classes. That's the good news. I have WindowsXP and digital modem access to the internet. I am finding I can only get onto the internet early morning or late at night. The sessions are bumped after about an hour of internet access. Whenever I try to use the internet a new tab keeps opening that to search using the current search engine, searches for a string of characters and says nothing found. This then opens 3 or 4 times and then stops until i try to access a website again then recommences. This seems to be processed by internet explorer. On checking internet options all settings are at the minimum level but whenever i reset to medium or higher and reboot these are reset but as soon as i go to the internet they are automatically reset to minimum. With the valid Token Handle, when I call GetTokenInfomation API with TokenUser as a second parameter then every time & for all user account I get Valid SID in PTOKEN_USER structure variable. I keep getting a Program:Win32/PowerRegScheduler Medium alert, and it happens to be for an .EXE file for my son's Roller Coster Tycoon ( file:E:\American\HSBR-MP.exe ) I am assuming it is not a threat and it is happening because it is an old game. Any thoughts? Am I correct? It will only Quarantine and not remove, and when ever the computer restarts it says the threat is detected. Does that mean I have to run VAMT twice for both products? Or can I activate both products in one run. I have been tasked with setting up a Zero/Lite Touch deployment solution for Windows XP. The problem is company in question doesn't have a VLK for XP, as they buy their computers second hand with OEM keys to save money. Low anual IT budget and a VLK for their entire park would eat up a years budget at this point so it's off the table. Today they have an external agent handeling the OEM instals using the OPK, but the company has been bought up, by my company, and we are taking over the process. Hey Microsoft, this one really take's the cake. I have Internet Explorer 9 on my Windows 7 running desktop pc. I have Bing set as my home pag. Why is that your browser, is too stupid to figure out that Bing is my home, I'm on www.bing.com when I open up Internet Explorer 9 and guess what appear's every single time I open your browser up ? I get a stupid little strip towards the top of the viewing area asking me if I want to set Bing as my home page. DUHH!!! It already is. Even if I click Yes, the same thing appears every time. DUH!!
