I am on Windows 7, running IE9.08 I had an issue with itunes menu drop down that was not visible, a solution was to install Sengoe UI bold. I downloaded it off freeware service. It has now messed up computer - all my web pages that I open are displayed in BOLD. In Control panel, fonts - there are now four listings of each font under the Sengoe folder eg: Sengoe UI Bold x 4, Sengoe UI Bold italics x 4... I have already tried to delete the Sengoe UI bold, however it says that it is a protected system font Tried to load default fonts - this doesn't work...doesn't actually hang, but doesn't process anything any other suggestions would be appreciated. I'm trying to run this registry key from a login batch file. It adds Trusted Intranet Sites to Internet Explorer. regedit.exe /s \\novus\publicdr\IEZonesUsers.reg Which seems to run, but when I run it from within a login script it's suppose to add a key to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains, but it saves to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\EscDomains Now, if i run the same registry (IEZonesUsers.reg), manually from the Windows 7 machine it copies the registry to \Domains, which is the correct location. When I will click the new tab button in IE 9, IE will just freeze but not act like it's loading. Then after a minute or so the new tab will come and then when I hit it again during my session it will work quickly. The same thing happens to the tools menu, but not to things like the favorites menu. This has gone on for like a coupple months but before then it worked fine. Also, if I middle click on a link to open it in a new tab, it will load fast and open the tab fine. And I have been trying different browsers like Google Chrome and everything there works perfect. I'm using IE9 with windows7.When I try to print I get a script error line 2053 char 1, the specified module could not be found code:0. I contacted kodak support.They took control of my computer for two hours.They checked settings and drivers and said it was a problem with my browser. They tried to find IE 8 for windows 7 but were unable to find that version. They suggested contacting microsoft support or try downloading google chrome. I downloaded google chrome. I received a replacement laptop from HP a few months ago with Win 7 home. We have a MS volume license, so I downloaded Win Pro from our MS vol lic acct. now I'm getting the error "Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy of windows is not genuine" AND by background screen is black. I can use my computer, just anoying message and blk screen. I ran MS diagnostics from ms.com - they all passed. I ran security - nothing no threats... suggestions to correct this??? Like many others I'm a little frustrated about the removal of the CopyTo functionality that prevents me from easily creating a default user profile based on my customized user settings. But many other posts have already bashed Microsoft on this and I'm hoping to just get an answer so that I can continue creating my base image. I can create my default user profile by renaming my customized user profile to C:\users\default, changing the security on the folder/registry and by striping out all user/SID references in the registry.......like I said, that's not the problem. I'm wanting to do things the right way by using the CopyProfile option within the Unattend.xml, but…

The reason I ask is that I used to have Avast! before switching over to MSE, but now that I think about it, I distinctly remember a couple of times when Avast! prevented some apparently Malicious ads from loading themselves on a Web-page in Chrome that is, it stopped them from being downloaded and rendered. Does MSE also do this? Or does MSE only "protect" by preventing any potentially malicious software from installing itself on my system? If MSE does nothing to prevent software from downloading, should I stick with Avast! instead? I also really like the Avast plug-in for Google Chrome with the website reports so I can know not to enter a site in the first place... …
