Hello, we are using Citrix XenDesktop on Windows 7 Prof. For this environment we are trying to use roaming profiles. Profile Path and Settings are provided by MS GPOs. By first logon, the profile is created like expected on specified profile share. by next logon, the profile is used as we can see on created files on desktop for example. however, settings like explorer views, icon placement oder taskbar settings get lost by logoff and re-logon. unfortunately we are not able to find any errors or warnings system log files. can anyone help? regards alex Continue reading...

Hello, We have the problem in Outlook 2010 (on two workstations) when we wan't to print an email the username of the printjob is changed to an domain administrator. So when the user who prints the job is called "robert" and the domain administrator is called "sysadmin" the username of the printjob is changed from robert to sysadmin. When we print the same email for the second time (when it's still opened on the computer) the username of the printjob is not changed. So when the the user who print the job is called "robert" the printjob still have the username "robert". When we print from other applications or Word 2010 and Excel 2010 we don't have this problem. OS Version: Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit We put our Tech Support phone number on a custom logon background. The number has changed and I need to update all our Windows 7 boxes with the new logon screen. I deployed a new logon screen to all our XP boxes using a simple script and SCCM. It worked 100%. I can manually copy all the new logon screen backgrounds into C:\Windows\System32\oobe\Info\backgrounds\ and it works. A script does not work, even when I run it as Administrator. Hi We need to deploy Outlook 2010 ONLY to many machines so we want to create an .MSP installation that will simply install Outlook 2010 from the Office 2010 Pro suite. However, every option we have tried to make in the MSP file seems to result in the existing version of office being removed and 2010 being installed. When windows trial is complete and its time either to purchase new windows or return to vista, I have tried 7 and found it fast and a big improvement on vista (......here comes the but) but when i tried to downgrade back to vista I could not and had to use recovery disc and lost a lot of time doing recover ie. re-installing all programs and all the saved files and things. At the moment I would love to stick with 7 but when it comes to buying it I can't financially because of being disabled and funds wont allow it. Hello, A few weeks ago I purchased a retail version of windows 7. The version was supposed to be shipped to my country in a number of days but a month has passed and it still didn't arrive. I already purchased a new computer to install windows 7 on but since the software didn't arrive, it's just sitting there collecting dust.
