After MICROSOFT cancelled the Microsoft MYphone service and I tried to go back to using the Windows Moble Device Center and sync to Outlook...IT NEVER WORKED PROPERLY WITH SYNCING THE CALENDAR!!! THE MICROSOFT MYPHONE SERVICE DID SOMETHING TO MY PHONE WHICH CAUSE MY CALENDAR SYNC TO BECOME NON FUNCTIONAL! .MY CONTACTS ARE SYNCING...HOWEVER THE CALENDAR IS NOT!!!!! My email address that I have had for 10 years has been hacked. Emails requesting money were sent to everyone on my contact list. I was able to change the password thru a gmail account that I have on my droid. I am NOT receiving emails or any correspondance. Hello, Im posting this discussion because i have a problem with my windows 7, i will explain the problem. I used to have a laptop at the office with windows 7, but they changed the laptops and gave us a desktop, i created a system image in the laptop to restore it in the desktop, i did the restore from image succesfully and here comes the problem, when i try to boot to windows 7 it takes me to the windows logo and after that the computer restarts, also in safe mode, i tried system repair, boot repair and bootrec.exe but it still doesnt boot. MS doesn't necessarily do major updates on a schedule... they do them when they're ready.) Is this accurate (it was written Dec 2011)? Since it's March, do I have the 2012 version now? I am running an E machine with MSEssentials and Windows NT. MSE has worked properly for many months. Now it shows me an amber warning indicating the machine has not had a scan in a while. But I did two full scans yesterday. I have uninstalled software, then downloaded new software but problem persists. When I downloaded another copy last week it worked properly for a day or so. I have a client who just recently had her XP computer reformatted. With nothing on the system prior, and knowledge that this combination usually works on Vista and 7, I have installed the following products: -MalwareBytes Antimalware -Spybot Search & Destroy -CCleaner -Microsoft Security Essentials The system receives updates via Microsoft Update (xp's name for Windows Update) with no troubles at all Attempting to update the Virus and Spyware definitions, I ran across a problem similar to most people I received error code 0x8024400a. Attempted to Run IE Performance and Safety, also tried Internet Explorer Add-on, in Microsoft Fix It. Both give me the same error "The troubleshooter has experienced an unexpected error and cannot continue." I have a situation where I want users on a Windows XP (domain member) to have very restricted privileges - but the users need to be able to start and stop one particular Windows service. I do not want users to be able to start or stop any other services - just one particular one. Background info: this is in a school setting in a lab environment. The computers need to be locked down as much as we can to reduce the risk of viruses etc. But the lab software the students are using for their project has a service that they need to be able to stop (and start, but stopping is more important). My HTC HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 phone starts to call to the last number in my contact list when I press the call end button after conversation.
