I have one disk with 320GB. It divide to 299GB and to 100MB which I want to merge. I got inside Administrative tools -> Computer Management -> disk Management and I formated the 100MB drive. I had been using Windows Security Essential 2011 for a while until it had some error during scan. So I decided to uninstall it and re-install afterwards hoping the error I had before will be fixed. First time i tried uninstalling the program, there was an error said it was unable to complete to remove the program and try restarting. However, when I tried again to uninstall from Control Panel, the Windows Security Essential is not on the list and that was not only the thing got worth. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit on a Compaq laptop. Every time I have to do a sysytem restore, for any reason at all and every restore has been for a different reason, I loose all my Microsoft Security Essentials virus definitions. Since I have dial up this involves between 4.5 to 6 hours to reinstall all the virus definitions since it's a whopping 67 meg. (whopping to dial up users anyhow). Several weeks ago I started getting an error box every time I search websites, including this one. MSVCR100D.dll missing file pops up numerous times while searching/connecting to websites. It has become so annoying that I have been forced to log on to my computer using the "guest" mode. How could I be missing a file if I have not initiated any changes? Prepping my Windows 7 base image, I am setting up the Administrator account with different customization's than I want for the Default profile. I want my Default profile to have customizations for regular end users and the Administrator account to have customizations for Admin users (i.e. Administrator wallpaper, server shortcuts, etc...). Therefore, I don't want to use the CopyProfile setting in my Unattend.xml since the Administrator account is special. when printing using windowa office 2007 in outlook - if a document is multiple pages and i only want to print the first page i am unable to do so. my only options are to select to print odd or even pages. i checked with our IT department at work and they said that this is a flaw in the working of Office 2007 which seems rediculous.
